Techniques
Each technique has its own history: first tries, retrains when the stance changed, teachers that failed on video and the ones that made it into the student. Each page tells that story and lists every run behind it, with its cost. The stance itself, balance and walking aren't techniques here: they are the foundation everything else is trained on, and their cost is on the Stats page.
Strikes
- The jabThe lead straight: the first punch, retrained with every new stance and still the one everything else is measured against.
- The crossThe rear straight: the hip and the rear foot turning the whole body behind the punch.
- The hooksThe lead and rear hooks, the lead one from my own motion capture.
- The uppercutsLead and rear uppercuts from close to long range: several teachers that turned or staggered before one stayed square.
- The body straightThe rear straight to the body, from my motion capture, kept clear of a low blow.
- The kneesThe rear knee and the switch knee to the body, trained side by side.
- The elbowsThe right elbow and the stepping left elbow to the chin.
- The low kicksThe right low roundhouse and the left one off a switch.
- The mid kicksThe right and left mid roundhouses to the body.
- The high kicksThe right and left high roundhouses to the head.

Defence
Blocking was trained early on (see the blocking post). It gets its own control, and this page, once there is an opponent to play against.
